Yesterday's Pictures Part Deux

Here goes another try with the photos from yesterday. I have also made the font bigger. Perhaps yesterday's was a little small?

Documentation of Eliot & I planning (at CC, of course) the missing 4 days in the middle of the trip. I finally strong armed him into participating.

(I shrunk all these pics so the page wouldn't take 10 hours to load. Let me know if they look too pixelated and I can crank up the resolution.)

Here is a shot of the Canadian Rockies en route to Anchorage.

Next up, my snack pack. . .you may also notice my iPod which I actually opened up and downloaded music to during our layover in Chi-town.

When we finally got to our hotel, we were starving. Since we couldn't pick up our car until the following morning, we were limited to the hotel restaurant or a restaurant in the surrounding area. We opted for the hotel restaurant. I chose this particular hotel in part because of the research I did on its restaurant and the Executive Chef. We went down to get seated and the decor was very trendy and modern. We ordered from the "bite size" menu and were all very pleased with our choices. I had the beef skewered fondue. Delish. And, an excellent value at only $13. It consisted of four skewers of filet cubes served over toasted crostini with an almost "marsala-meets-A1" type of sauce. The "fondue" was a vat of Gorgonzola cheese with some sort of unidentifiable seasoning. So good. The name of the restaurant is Mixx Grill (the chef's name is Mick) and there are 'X' themes everywhere. Check out the silverware:

I this this finishes up yesterday. One other conversation of note:

Eliot to me after getting up in the night to go to the bathroom and then getting back in bed (yes, I am sleeping in the same bed as my brother--Reed vacations are classy): You better have pants on.

Me: (ignoring him, although I wanted to say "I'm not even wearing a shirt.") This bed is squishy.

Eliot: This bed kicks ass.

Me: I know.

Eliot: It would kick a lot more ass if you weren't in it.

I never would have let you go had I known about the shared bed thing. The pics look pretty good, you might go up one notch on the resolution.

WOW. I can only imagine the horror of you and Eliot sharing a bed. It's pretty much the funniest thing ever. Hope you're having a blast. Can't wait to hear more.

I think I just peed myself. You should get some old fashioned bloomers or something to wear.

MMMM, fancy food.

Miss you, Biscuit
